This trip was for our honeymoon. Upon arriving at the airport, the greeter for Breezes was upbeat and very nice... we thought the rest of the staff would be the same at the resort. To the contrary, they were rude, and arrogant. Our room keys stopped working within 12 hours and for the first 3 days of our trip we had to go up to our room, find out it wasnt working, return to the lobby and ask for housekeeping to let us in. The entire ordeal would take half an hour EACH TIME. Front desk staff kept stating that the system would be working within an hour. 3 days later, it was fixed. The food was not fresh, and lacked flavor all the way around. Alcoholic cocktails were watered down. Definitely not going back.
Traveler's tip:
Book a nicer all-inclusive, and you wont have any reason to leave the resort. There are quite a few gorgeous hotels near this one that are better worth their price.

Just returned from Breezes Bahamas. I was a little concerned about what we would find when you consider that it was considerably less expensive than several other resorts in the area. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was fantastic, especially "the Diva". The food was very good, nothing too exotic, standard fare, but very good. Loved the conch salad. I highly recommend this resort to anyone that is interested in a laid back, fairly inexpensive vacation. We found the friendliness of the staff, (and the people of the Bahamas in general), to be very genuine and unforced. We travel to "all inclusive" beach resorts quite a bit, in various countries around the Carribean. This would make our top two. Go....you'll like it!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Customer service is amazing. Everyone greets you with a smile and you can tell that the workers have as much fun with their job as you are having on your vacation. The food in the hotel was delicious whether you are eating at the grill, buffet or in their exclusive restaurants. Minor problems - carpeting in the room is not the best, the pool could be a little cleaner (residue from tanning oils sits in water).
Traveler's tip:
If you have the opportunity while staying in Grand Bahamas Island, have dinner at Twin Brothers Seafood and Steakhouse located at The Fish Fry. Very Bahamian feel, fresh seafood, amazing experience.

My overall review of this hotel is good. I was a little unhappy with the first room selection but was completely happy with the second room provided. Monica at the front desk was wonderful.

Breezes is a nice place to stay if your looking to save a few bucks. It's all inclusive which is nice, however it means watered down drinks and less than average food. It's located right on the beach which is absolutely beautiful and cleaner than the pool (which everyone drinks and smokes in). All in all it was a good experience, but if your looking for night life stay on Paridise Island not Cable Beach.
Traveler's tip:
I highly recomend Stuart Coves for snorkiling, SUBS, suba diving and anything else they offer. They are very professional and not too expensive. Dolphin encounters on Blue Lagoon is also a good choice.

The hotel was filled with vacationing college students (during July) and was usually noisy untill midnight. The food was pretty good, and the drinks are made with good liquor. The beach stretch is ok, but there are alot of solicitors roaming about, making it hard to relax.
Traveler's tip:
Use the bus its only $1, and if you plan to gamble go down the street to Crystal Palace, its walking distance.

Everything was at your fingertips. The staff was always there and willing to answer your questions or to help out in any way. The weather and water was wonderfully warm and relaxing. We would definitely make a return trip to Breezes Bahamas.
Traveler's tip:
The city bus runs from 7am to 6pm and is only a dollar. Since the island we were on is only 7 miles wide and 22 miles long, you can go anywhere on the city bus. Taxi's are much more expensive.

Prett good deal for what you get. Buffets are pretty nice and the restaurants arent bad either. The Pool Grill is awesome! The beach is very clean and well taken care of. My only big complaints were that the shower didnt drain and the safe deposit box was not cemented to the floor. Also, the pool stand ran out of towels (but only for about 30 min and it was raining, so maybe thats why). The rooms are nothing special, but we spent most of the time outside anyway. Being 22, I didnt think it was too bad, but I could see how some of the guests would aggrivate people in their 30s-40s+. Alot of frat guys running around being crazy. Overall, I had a really great time and would stay here again.
Traveler's tip:
Like everyone says, the shop is overpriced. Take the bus downtown and get things for much less (except the shot glasses at some places!) Eat all your food at the hotel, its not bad and will save you alot of money!

My girlfriend and i recently finished up our stay at the breezes, and we were very happy with everything. The food was great, very relaxing, and great evening shows. I defiantly think we would both go back to the breezes for the price they charge.
Traveler's tip:
The cheapest place to buy things are in the stores not the public people. If your planning on scuba diving with your girlfriend don't talk about sharks the night before or else you wont go haah

This is a good hotel for young people that dont care so much about the quality of a hotel but are looking for a good time and great drinks. Hotel needs to be updated badly. The food is good and they make some nummy drinks. The beach is nice and the activities are fun. We went 2 years ago for our honeymoon and had the time of our life...this time around was still a great time but a little more disapointing on the hotel side. Some of the staff were super nice and others not so much.
Traveler's tip:
check out their pastafari its pretty good... our friends did the garden of eden and were not impressed.

The first day we were there we had trouble with our room but they rectified the problem the next day. The food and drinks were great. I loved the self-serve dacquri machines and the pool side grill. There was something going on all the time. We absolutely loved our stay here. You can take a buss anywhere you want to go. The resort entertainment staff really made the place. They were fun, pleasant, kind, and very entertaining. Everyone was great down to the cleaning ladies. We would definately come back!
Traveler's tip:
Take a bus instead of a taxi. The busses are only a dollar. There is always a friendly face to point you in the right direction.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it wasn't good either. I went in April, lots of spring breakers!!! Loud, drunken teenagers with no adult supervision running around like idiots. The service was pretty good at times, not so good at the grill and at the front desk. The concierge was nice and so were the bartenders and party planners. I read reviews saying that the water pressure was poor, but in our room it was very good the whole time. The room wasn't the greatest though. We got there the first day and there was a pail in the bathroom with urine in it from the previous occupants and the toilet had flushing issues. The room was only semi cleaned each day and we kept receiving less and less towels as each day passed. We stole some from a housekeeping cart to get more. She must have noticed because there was a bag of towels hanging from our door later on. The food was mediocre at best. The grill was actually not bad at all, but the buffet was usually cold and flavorless. I only ate at Pastafari once, it was fine. The drinks at the bar were good, strong enough usually. The wine was no good though. The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, but would have been better if it weren't for the people trying to sell stuff all the time. All in all I would have to say that you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel, but I wish it would have been a little bit better.
Traveler's tip:
definitely don't take cabs, bus is cheaper and better.

i just returned from my vacation feeling very disappointed. i stayed at breezes for 5 nights...and this is what i experienced. staff few were kind but most seemed bothered with questions and were rude. rooms were damp and smelled musty. very very noisy could hear every little noise. food was nice there were alot of choices and fresh. activities were available it was just hard to get someone to help you with them. overall the quality is poor and you walk out of there feeling unsatisfied and ready to go home. this was the first time i have been on vacation that i was looking at my watch and counting the minutes till i could go home.
Traveler's tip:
dont use the taxi services. the first day we were there they charged us 200.00 for a ride threw town. all of them have there own price and they are all expensive. take the bus for a dollar its the only way to go.!

hotel accepts spring breakers and they completely ruined our stay at breezes in april 2007. food was also terrible; poor quality! rooms were in need of renovations! security did nothing to help with these kids! probably will never return!
Traveler's tip:
don't stay at breezes in march or april if you want to get any sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Breezes, Bahamas! It's the kind of place where you can feel at home. The service was excellent. Everyone is so pleasant and eager to help you. You can dressed up or dress down. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. There is so much to do at the hotel. You never get bored. I just recommended Breezes to my co worker and he is ready to book! I'll be back to renew my wedding vows there. You won't be sorry at Breezes. I've been here 4 times in the last five years and am going back again to renew my wedding vows.

We visited Superclubs Breezes Bahamas Feb 9th-16th to celebrate our anniversary. Although we did have a wonderful time, the resort is in dire need of a makeover. We don't go on vacation to spend alot of time in our room, but even with the little time we do spend in our room, we were extremely disappointed in the rooms at this resort. The main sleeping area is tolerable, but the bathrooms were in dire need of updating. The walls are paper thin and all the entry doors to the rooms stick, so you hear slamming doors all night long. Not exactly the atmosphere for getting a decent night sleep. On the positive side, we felt the food at the resort was very good, much better than some other all-inclusives we have been at. The drinks at all bars were good and bartenders were willing to make any drink you wanted. The nightly entertainment was good but VERY loud. The noise carries too, so don't think about getting any sleep until after midnight when it quiets down. The beach in front of the resort was nice and lounge chairs were always easy to come by.

This was our third trip to Breezes. The food is great and most of the help is great. The rooms leave a little to be desired. They are trying to upgrade. The beach is beautiful. We just enjoy meeting people, which we always do!

We weren't too sure what to expect, as we had never stayed there before, and the price seemed too good to be true. We were really happy and relaxed during our stay there, and we also felt really safe.
Traveler's tip:
During our stay, we got massages, went to The Astrada Gardens, and participated in some water sports. The beach is beautiful, and the water was crystal clear blue...I would recommend it.

I stayed at the hotel in early Feb. The staff was exceptionally polite and accomodating and did a great job cleaning the rooms daily. Food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. The downside to the experience was the quality of the rooms. I read reviews before, which stated the hotel had been newly renovated in the last couple of years. It was something out of the 1960's with stucco walls and grandma type floral prints with lace curtains and old, stained carpeting. I have seen better bathrooms in 3rd world countries, we had a cracked sink, calking coming off sink and tub and water pressure that was equivalent to a drinking fountain. The beach is beautiful and probably is the best in Cable Beach, definitely much better than all other hotels in the vicinity. The water was gorgeous The outdoor grill was excellent serving light fare. The wait and bar staff are friendly and efficient and the activities personnel were so much fun. Not very satisfactory for 3 stars. The Entertainment in the evenings was fabulous, great shows and Funky D should be given a bonus each year. The caliber of the guests were below average, we watched other American/Canadian guests dropping cigarette butts in the sand, leaving food/cups on the beach for seagulls to fight over when a garbage can was two feet away, people smoking/eating/drinking in the hot tub when asked not to. Each morning the beach was beautiful once again. Myself being pregnant, the staff was soo accomodating.
Traveler's tip:
Do day excursions you'll see dolphins and sting rays. Take the no. 10 bus to town for $1. Its comes directly to the hotel, has a/c and runs every 5 mins. -Bring insect spray, you will need it. -Try local cuisine, its delicious!! -Have change of clothes and bathing suit ready upon arrival.Barter, barter at the markets.

The room itself was nice, however, we felt the bathrooms were a little outdated and very small. It was hard to close the door and use the toilet at the same time. There just wasn't that much room between the door and the toilet. Everything else about the room was good. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice.
