Hotel was average in quality and comfort. Food was fair. Mostly cafeteria style. Even in the nice dinning room, the food was not spectacular, good but nothing great. Somewhat bland. Expected more flavor from a Carribean resort. Overall it was a decent value for the price, but next time we would prefer nicer accomodations without the meal package. We felt locked into the resorts meals and were unable to try the local cusine. Pool water was cold(slightly offseason) and the hot tub was too hot. Fitness area adequate but all the treadmills were in need of service. I guess you get what you pay for.

Traveler's tip:

As I said, you get what you pay for. Don't expect to eat like a king if you pay like a peasant. If you value volume over quality, then all inclusive is for you.

The hospitality of the staff was amazing, great atmosphere. Walkind distance from the Atlantis. Would definately recomend it to others.

The beach at the hotel is nothing. But a 5min walk will take you to Cabbage beach, which is great. $10 to rent a chair. Drinks on the beach in a coconut, food at Viola's. The room is OK, bathroom looks bad, bed is not great, but who cares, it is just a place to sleep. The buffet does not have a lot of choice, so we ended up eating outside for dinner. Breakfast is OK. Food is OK.

Traveler's tip:

Snorkeling at Stuart's cove got us to see a bunch of shark. Nice. Went also snorkeling with Majestic Tour on a Katamaran to Rose Island. Very nice. Lunch on the secluded beach and good food. Seafire Steakhouse - food is great (although pricey - like the rest of Bahamas). Still would recommend it.

Our family stayed at this hotel from November 20 to 27, 2007. This was the most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was disgusting. The bathroom was awful. We could not take our shoes off while in the room. The toilet ran all over the floor. Almost every part of the hotel was dirty. We could not take the conditions any longer so we left and stayed at a large beautiful hotel down the street that was clean. Do not even consider staying at this hotel. This was an extreme disappointment and huge waste of money.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The all inclusive deal is a good value for those traveling on a budget. We weren't expecting much but were pleasently surprised at the quality of the rooms and the food. The Atlantis casino and the beaches are within short walking distance so the location was also ideal. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the Bahamas without depleting the family savings.

I would love to go back if they would update the facility. In our room the bathroom door would not close and it would not open properly. The floor was very slippery and sticky. A couple of people that I met actually slipped and were injured. The staff was wonderful. Great service. The pool area was really great. I do plan on returning but may choose another resort.

This hotel is not the one to stay at if you want nightlife. There was a short show the staff put on each night about 8 PM but after that there was nothing to do. The 2 bars didn't even have music and the TV's were on CNN all the time.

I am a native of the island. I felt a need to "getaway" for the weekend. From the time that I checked into the hotel up to checking out time, I was for the most part impressed. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The ambience had a relaxing feel to it. The ocean view that I had from my room was absloutely phenomenal. The room was very spacious and tidy. The food at the buffet style restaurant was the least impressive to me. The selections of food were very limited and had not catered sufficiently to those that were vegan. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service I had received. Without being bias, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. I wish we could have stayed longer. I will definately go again. We want to get a bigger group. The intertainment was very nice. The food was always very good. All we had to do was relax and they took very good care of us. This topps any cruise I have been on.

We had a little problem with the check in...they tried to chance our room twice...insted that, the hotel was great, the staff wonderfull...the food is not the best but you get for what you pay. The pool is great, but the beach is small...

It is a friendly, and nice place to stay, It has a very good food/beverage service, and nice attention (it is really all inclusive). but the ISP provider offer 24 hs of internet service at the room starting at midnight it is not in accordance with the check in time(3:00 pm) and check out time (11:00 am), if I pay 24 hs I want to use 24 starting anytime and finish it after use that period of time, or at least in the same room time period.

Traveler's tip:

You could use WiFi connection close to the lobby for free but it some times become a little noisy place to stay (while the evening or night time)

The staff was friendly and the hotel was nice. The meals in the buffet were well prepared but somewhat predictable. The private lagoon was lots of fun but could use some maintenance. The pool however was not nearly as clean as i would have liked. Overall though, this hotel is a good value for the money. And it is in the Bahamas.

Traveler's tip:

The "Stuart Cove's Sub Adventure" was the most incredible thing. We didn't want to come back up to the surface. Staurt Cove's does a fantastic job. We highly recommend this adventure. We will definitely do this again. The "Sail Nassau America's Cup Racing" was also very enjoyable. Well worth the trip.

I was not impressed with the hotel at all. The entertainment was horrible and the variaty of food was very limited. Breakfast was the same everymorning, lunch was ok but was only served from 12-2 and dinner as well was very limited. There was an a la carta restaurant that did not have much of a selection. The currency is the same as US and the prices are reasonable. The people i must say where very friendly.

If you want to vist the atlantis go during the night there is no charge, you wont be able to enjoy the pool and water rides but you will enjoy many other things.

Although many of the reviews for this hotel have been negative, I had a wonderful time and couldn't have been more pleased with my trip. The hotel staff was beyond accomidating. When my sister and I ventured out in to Naussau dancing until 3am, we called the frontdesk at the hotel and they sent a cab to pick us up and bring us back safely. The food could have been a bit more tasty but it wasn't horrible. The beach at the hotel is man made however, the walk to the "real beach" was a lovely part of our adventures. It wasn't inconvienent to take the 5 min walk over to cabbage beach. The building is old and could use a few renovations but its all bareable. If you're looking for a hotel that is both affordable and relaxing this is the place for you.

Traveler's tip:

Don't buy jewelry or keepsakes from the vendors on the beach. Instead take a trip to the straw market where you'll find the same stuff for half the price.

We stayed at this hotel because our honeymoon trip to Jamaica was canceled due to hurricane Dean, so we had to book another trip at the last minute and had very few choices. Overall the hotel was OK. It was in need of some cosmetic work. Some of the staff were not very friendly. Every time you walked down the hall you were asked to go on a time share presentation. There was not much to do. The only activities were swimming in the pool or in the lagoon or drinking at the bar. I would not recommend this hotel. It is worth the extra money to stay somewhere else!

We were very happy with our hotel. The staff was very friendly. The food was great and they did not skimp on the alcohol in our drinks. Our overall experience was wonderful and we will definately go back again.

The hotel conditions and maintenance of the hotel was very bad. The rooms had a very bad smell, low lighting, old flooring, and mildew. The swimming pool was closed for 5 days during our trip.

The abridge version; The hotel was rubbish, the food was rubbish considering it was suppposed to be "All Inclusive" but I think that is the bigger problem because you pay for all inclusive you are trapped in the hotel. The staff were not very helpful and more often than not ignorant. I arrived at the hotel at 1pm and my room wasn't available until 5pm....each time I asked about the room - the staff were rude to me and just told me to wait until 5pm. The toilet in the room didn't flush and every day maintenance had to come and fix it. The nonsence of having to take pool / beach towels back to reception everyday once you had used them and recieve towel keys back was stupid and treated you like children. Wwrist bands to prove you are a guest - as above, only two drinks per person when all inclusive and I have a family of four!!!! The hot tub outside poolside must have been 110c....you couldn't put your foot in it without burning your foot! The entertainment was the worst I have ever seen and then it would finish at 9pm. The lobby area for the entertainment was the wrong venue for it - why couldn't they have it outside?? Not enough room in lobby area to get to the bar or watch the very poor entertainment. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyonbe.

the hotel wasn't that great i'll never go back , the pool is nice in shape only but not that clean, the lagoon that they say it's safe for kids it's so dirty and smell like diesel, because all the yachts and ships in the side of the hotel so we had to walk across the island to go to the beach wich is great and clean,the good thing is they have nice shows every night that was fun.

Traveler's tip:

there is a shopping center close by (walking distance)and you can take the ferry to the straw market ($3)a person ,it's a fun ride and lot of nice scenic view on the way so you should try it.

We had a good vacation this July(07) at the resort. It was very average. The people were very nice and the service was good. The all inclusive buffet was ok. The kids enjoyed the cookies and ice cream but often had a hard time finding a main meal to eat at dinner, so we ended up getting burgers or chicken nuggets at the bar ( still inclusive) just a pain. Drinks were good. The kids club was not the best. They only let you know what was going on by the bullentin board and the kids 8 & 12 were not all that excited about the activities. The fire limbo show was good. They really need to do more fun things out by the pool instead of the lobby or the 2nd floor kids activity room. Over all it was a good value and a pretty good location.The man made "beach" n the harbour was OK. Most days we walked to near by cabage beach which was beautiful. There wasn't much to do in the evenings especially with the kids many nights we ended up leaving the property. I would have liked to have seen some childrens activities in the evenings, bingo or other games or dancing would have been fun to get all the kids together and get to know each other.

Traveler's tip:

Defenitly take the Robinson Cruso snorkeling and beach trip it was the best thing we did all week and a good value too!

You get what you pay for. The rooms were outdated, but functional. The staff was pretty helpful. The pool was nice. The "beach" was not. The food was satisfactory. Staying at a place that was all inclusive saved big bucks.
