This hotel is only for people who like each other as the only entertainment you have is each other. The acommodations are comfortable and spacious. However acommodations of this caliber should have essentials like coffee filters, paper towels and mosquitos coils for the room. The island has a major mosquito problem for the insects were vicious. I also would recomend that you rent a car. The menu at Simbas.the hotel restaurant, is limited.

Traveler's tip:

The golf course is challenging and full of mosquitos

We had a fabulous stay here in the month of December. The resort was just what we were looking for; quiet, romantic, and quaint. The grounds were lovely and the beach was incredible. We enjoyed having access to a full kitchen and washer/dryer in our room. We spent alot of time on our 2nd floor balcony reading, eating, or just relaxing.

Traveler's tip:

It was well worth it to rent a jeep for a couple days to explore the island at a lesuirely pace. If you'd like to get a special souviner from the island look into adopting a local dog and bringing it home with you. It's an inexpensive and easy process!
