When entering the gated hotel, there's a feeling of relaxation and openess. The lobby has no walls and the staff were extremely friendly. The pools were very nice and the access to the public beach was right off the hotel's pool area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going down to Acapulco who doesn't want to stay near all the shopping and noisy areas.

Very helpful staff and clean room with ocean view next to beach. Food at the buffet was very good. Only a few miles from the airport. Hotel is not a high rise so it is not crowded making for easy check in and check out and lots of beach space. Huge playground for children located on premises. Away from any tourist areas but if you want the beach this is the place. Will definately consider staying there again if I go back to Acapulco.

We had an amazing week with our two small kids. The service is excellent, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the kids club and playground are fun, the food is very good, the pools are perfect for small children. The only down side was that the hotel doesn't seem to clean it's beach front. We found small garbage all over the palapas every day. But it's something easy to fix, if they would.

If you choose the buffet at the restaurant, children are free.

The grounds of the hotel were really nice. Although the rooms aren't updated they were clean and comfortable. The only real complaint was that the air condtioning was not good at all. The room felt like it was 85 degrees the whole time.

Not impressed, for the same amount other hotels in the area are much better.

this hotel dates back to maybe... 60's-70's.. it's ok, the service is good but don't expect too much.

Nice & quiet, good service (expensive) and great beach (not so crowded). If I had to say something I didn't like... the extra charges for almost everything (extra bed, parking, ocean view, etc). There is a very nice area for kids in one of the gardens near the pool.

We have now stayed in 3 totally different locations in Acapulco (Las Brisas, Hotel Emporio right on the strip, and here). What we loved about this hotel was the proximity of the ocean and the size of it. While the Mayan palace is great, you have to pay for the beach and I didn't think their pool was as nice. The Pierre is a nice, quiet place to really get away from it all. We had a garden view room which was 10 seconds away from the pool (don't think paying that much more for an ocean view is worth it) and right near the beach. The food service near the pool was great and the food was good and not that expensive. We did go over to the Mayan (it was nice to have that option) for a day to use the pool and for a nice dinner. Overall it was an absolutely lovely stay and we would absolutely come here again. It was nice to be away from all of the action and be so close to a clean beach. Oh - and they have THE BEST spa products in the bathrooms!!

We love to go to this hotel because the service is wonderful!

Good hotel: mid-size, quiet, in very good shape. Good breakfasts and corteous staff.

Quiet, very good service, great open spaces, lovely beach, good restaurants, situated in the nicest area of Acapulco.

The hotel accommodations and amenities - such as pools, bar, and cafe shop - were perfect. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and across from Walmart, MegaStore, Starbucks, Disco, etc. The main restaurant is not open continuously so if want more than the light menu at the snack bar, plan ahead. Overall it was a 9+.

If you enjoy the beach or pool, this is the place to be. The staff is attentive, courteous and cannot wait to assist. The hotel is campus like so you can choose the type of accommodations you prefer. Food service is excellent! I would love to go back!

This is our second stay at the Pierre Marques. We stayed in the "towers" this time, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel is clean and staff accommodating. Would go back.
