What to expect: Opened in March 2007, this all-suites luxury resort is located within the spectacular Atlantis Resort. The Cove Atlantis is perched above two white-sand beaches and surrounded by lush landscaping, waterfalls, and freshwater pools with water lilies and a rainbow of tropical fish. Very friendly and helpful staff, super clean and oversized room. Worth every penny we spent. Will be going back for sure!

Bring water shoes for everyone. Sandals are good but you have to constantly take them off to enjoy the rides. With water shoes you don't have to worry about that. Plus we saw quite a few people fall due to the ground being wet and slippery while walking to and from the rides, so water shoes eliminates a potential disaster.

The Cove was such a wonderful place to stay . I only wish it had more places to eat so we wouldn't have had to venture into the Atlantis masses as often.

Pricy but a great place to take your family - young and old. But if you want to spend some quite romantic time with your mate, I wouldn't recommend it: there is too much activity going on and way too many people everywhere: though, The Cove was quieter than the other Atlantis hotels (Royal...etc.)The hotel is also seriously understaffed so there is an 80% chance that your call to the reception will not be answered. The management team is courteous though. Trip date - May 2009

Traveler's tip:

The picture on their site with a white bathtub near the window is only for their Executive room (most expensive) room price I am not allowed to quote because of Expedia's rule. We paid a lot thinking we were getting that room, but we didn't.

The Cove is a luxury hotel, large rooms and a private pool(just for The Cove residents)so cool with the best DJ ever!!! The food is great and the breakfast is the largest I have ever had with so many options. The Cove hotel is inside The Atlantis complex, that is REALLY BIG. The Atlantis Complex is the best, with lots of differents pools, aquarium, fish tanks, restaurants. It s really huge and I stayed for 4 days and I didn t see everything. I Loved to stay at The Cove. The largest hotel I have ever stayed by far with a beautiful total blue ocean.

Traveler's tip:

Nobu restaurant Café Martinique restaurant Arrive early at The Cove pool to get a perfect nice spot.

The Cove is the place to stay for couples who want to relax in luxury. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire grounds are beautifully landscaped. The room was clean and we had a great view. The food was expensive but fantastic! We purchased the Cove Gourmet Dining plan before we arrived. I highly recommend Casa D'Angelo, Mesa Grill and Seafire Steakhouse. The buffets are wonderful too--go to Mosaic, Water's Edge and Marketplace. The beach is well maintained and at the Cove--practically had the beach to ourselves Mon-Thurs. So many slides and pools to choose from--we ran out of time to do everything. The Dig and Predator Tunnel are such an experience--we walked through them each day. We also did the cliche "walk on the beach under the moon"--totally romantic. The most romantic, relaxing, gorgeous, friendly, vacation we've ever had.

Traveler's tip:

Purchase a meal plan and make reservations before you arrive if you wish to eat 5-star. Saw families turned away because restaurants were at capacity.

This hotel is a must for anyone looking for the perfect Bahamian vacation. Great atmosphere whether you are looking for pure relaxation or a great party. Service at the Cove was top rate, especially in comparison to the other properties associated with the Atlantis

Traveler's tip:

Poolside dining is quite expensive. Take a walk away from the Cain pool for a better and less expensive lunch

Wonderful experience at this Bahamas resort. The staff was wonderful - helpful but not overbearing. The grounds are truly incredible. We especially enjoyed the many and varied pools and beaches. One word of warning: food prices are astronomical, so be prepared. Example: a room service hamburger at the Cove was about $26. Delicious but definitely pricey. Do try different restaurants, as every one we went too had excellent food.

Traveler's tip:

If you are looking for real luxury and expect only the best, be sure to stay at the Cove tower - it will more than meet your expectations. If you like very nice accomodations but don't want to pay top dollar - stay at the Royal towers. Only stay at the Coral or Beach if you are not worried about top of the line rooms but still want to enjoy the resort setting.

The Cove is a very modern, nice hotel. It is quite a walk to most of the Atlantis activities. The restaurants are very expensive. I did find the staff to be professtional and attentive. I might go back to this hotel, but not with children.

Traveler's tip:

Our family did an off site snorkeling excursion and that was great. I would highly recommend Stuart's Cove.

Fantastic room - clean, modern with every convenience, fab view and excellent service. We were 4 adults and had a great time. The guys did the deep water dolphin swim and had a ball. We all did the shark walk and it was a trip. We are over 30 but thorougly enjoyed the slides and the lazy river. Great meal at Casa d' Angelo and wait staff excellent. The Mosaic buffet was very good as well. Lunches and drinks were expensive but that is to be expected. Went parasailing and enjoyed the beach very much. Won at casino which was nice but sorely needs a poker room! Aura club was packed with a good dance vibe. We are planning to return next year since we all had a great time. Much to do and see, beautiful grounds to walk day and night. Highly recommend.

Traveler's tip:

Adults don't overlook the slides and lazy river. You'll have a blast and laugh all day....

The hotel and complex was wonderful. A variety of pools and water attractions and many other things to do. Extremely well maintained and luxurious. The spa was wonderful! The only drawback was the cost of food and especially drinks poolside. We complemented dining on site with eating in town to combat the cost.

Traveler's tip:

We ate in town at Poopdeck which had outstanding food for good value and the restaurant was right on the water.

This was our third trip to Atlantis and we were not disappointed! We were a little concerned as it's now the height of hurricane season, but we lucked out and the resort was not nearly as crowded as it is during the summer months. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back!
