Tamarind Cove has large, comfortable rooms with spacious and clean baths. Must remember you are on "Island Time", rooms may not get serviced until the afternoon and dinner service can be slow, flyers and notices may appear under your door after the event. Ocean at the hotel was very rocky/coral, great for snorkeling, not swimming, a short walk in either direction were sandy areas.
Traveler's tip:
Mount Gay lunch tour was not worth the cost. Take the tour only. Highly recommend Glory Tours and especially Sarah.

We had a great time at the Tamarind Cove. The hotel is very well maintained, the grounds and pools are beautiful. The food was good and presented very nicely. We like good food and we were not dissapointed. The bar was reasonably priced. The beach right in front of the hotel had good snorkeling, and you could see turtles nearby. I recommend getting a room with a view. It's definitely worth it. We recommend the all inclusive plan. Try at least one local restaurant if you can too. The hotel staff were nice. The beach is public, so you'll see some local vendors, but they are polite. The beach was not crowded. The hotel kept it clean. Enjoy your vacation.
Traveler's tip:
You can swim to see the turtles, no need to pay for a turtle tour. There is a gas station across from the hotel with an ATM where you can buy water and basic items. The public bus can take you to a few shopping areas just up the street. They run very frequestly and are quite an experience :)

The service at the hotel is excellent. They really go over and beyond for their guests. The bed in the room was not the most comfortable and the shower pressure left alot to be desired. The property itself is beautiful and in a good location to holetown/bridgetown. We had the all inclusive plan for meals/activities. The food was good, but by day 5 we were ready for a change. There were lots of other restaurants close by to choose from.
Traveler's tip:
We booked a snorkeling cruise instead of using the hotel service and I would definitely recommend that to anyone. It was well worth the money and we went to 2 different locations to see a shipwreck and sea turtles.

Great hotel and great beach coupled with the greatest weather we could ask for. Overall a good experience. The fitness room needs improvements and little things like clean towels in the early am. Very nice people overall.
Traveler's tip:
It's a long way from Miami, so make sure you plan for a long haul to Barbados. Great island and nice experience
