The four nights myself and wife spent was for us very relaxing. The hotel staff was courteous and always very plesant, from early in the morning to late at night.

Great place! The only drawback is the airport being so close.

We went to Sandals Montego Bay for our honeymoon and the time we spent there was great. The food was good, the room was clean, and the best part was the staff. They are excellent - very friendly, helpful and fun! We would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about going.

It was too close to the airport. You could hear the airplanes fly by all the time. But besides that, the people were friendly, the place was fun, very relaxing.

Our recent stay at the Sandals Montego bay was wonderful. Great service. Very friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile. Every staff member we encountered asked if we were enjoying the stay and if anything was needed. Very attentive staff. Was sad to eave. Will definetly go back and have already recommended this resort.

I loved the all-inclusive aspect of this vacation. You don't have to carry cash on you; the resort staff won't even accept tips (but definitely have tips ready for anything and everything you do once you step off the resort property!). The staff were incredibly friendly and in most cases very helpful. The one big problem we had was that we did not have hot water in our hotel room, and complained about this four times. After the second time, we had hot water for one shower; the next morning it was cold again. The third time we complained, the desk clerk said, "Are you very sure you are using it properly?" We assured him that we knew how to work a shower, but the water never did get fixed, nor were we offered a new room or any form of compensation for the inconvenience. Also, they put a flower on your bed when they clean your room, which is nice, but I recommend asking them not to do this, as one of the flowers they put on our bed was full of ants. Other than that, I thought that the service was good, the staff were very pleasant, and for the price it is a pretty good deal.

We had a great time while staying at the Mo Bay Sandals. The service was good, food was ok, and the planes aren't that big of a deal. They do however fly right over the resort so if you aren't used to hearing planes flying around, it may be an issue.

Sandals was very nice place to stay, too bad that it is in Jamaica.

Everything about this place was great!! Will deffinately go back. All inclusive is exactly what is says. You pay for nothing! People are very nice and happy to serve your every need with a smile. My wife and I bought everything we wanted to bring home and even with the cab fare to go into the shopping district,we still did not break $300.00 american dollars!! You will have a great time!

We decided to spend the money for "sandals" ultra all inclusive. And when we got there they were trying to move us to a different hotel 2 hours away in Negril. Food was probably the worst part, youll have to get your moneys worth in alcohol. Not too much entertainment other than one hour a night. We were constantly looking for things to do. The rooms were nice, but very rough around the edges and there were a ton of mosquitos in our room all day long, we used bug spray but it barely helped. Service was good with some people and poor with others, one night we waited an hour to be seated for dinner. No waitresses on the beach either or anywhere else other than the restaurant. So you will have to go and get all your drinks. Dont get me wrong it was nice, but not what i expected.

We loved it! Yes there were some people selling their goods on the beach, No Problem! It's a couples resort so use the buddy system! The beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The water was so clear. Mosquitos weren't biting for our stay. It came in handy for the paid trips to Croydon Plantation and the Negril. Even though the Croydon trip was scenic and got us in the mountains, the tour guide was annoying to listen to. We did enjoyed sampling 7 different types of pineapple and some other things. The Negril tour guide was great! He was informative and friendly. It was cloudy and we missed the Negril sunset. I liked the Resort gift shops and found the prices to be good. Also the airport has a Great Selection and prices are good! The employees at the watersports place seemed to have an attitude. We were told that the best employees were hired away to a new resort going in. Tipping isn't allowed but we did on rare occasions. The cheapest room doesn't have a balcony or patio. The next one up is ground floor with patio and the one above that is second or third floor with balcony. We had that room and our view was of the garden area. After seeing the noise level on the beach with games and all we really appreciated our room. HoneyMoon Suites are more private. But it's also where the outsiders come in to the beach area selling their stuff.

We had a fun time at Sandals Montego Bay. They have one of the better beaches in the Montego Bay area with fun water sports activities. You can take shuttles to Royal Carribean location and enjoy some of their facilities including their private island. To point out some down sides, this location literally is overlooking the airport and the planes generate loud sound during the take off (about once per 2 hours). Scuba diving is free but if you don't have the diving license, you are required to take class or go with the instructor and that's not free.

Everything was exceptional. Even though, the airport is so close, the airplanes in the runway are not that big of a deal. My only suggestion is not to use the "wake up" call.

The resort staff was the greatest, everything you wanted was right at your fingertips. They had all the amneties you could ask for in your room and at the resort. The towels and linens were always fresh and clean the rooms cool and refreshed daily. The beach was gorgeous and always had staff around to help you. Watersports were a blast! The food and the drinks were delicious and spectacular every time.

There are some hasslers in the water along the beach and it was very hard to go to the beach at night because of them. There was always enough spots at the pool and beach which made it nice. Watch out for the drinks because they make them very strong. Definately reccommend this hotel for a fun, relaxing, and beach filled vacation.

Make sure you do your research on the Sandals hotels. There is a vast difference in the quality between them. Montego Bay was much more of a party resort than we expected. It is RIGHT next to the airport- and therefor it's very noisy when planes take off. The staff were wonderful- very outgoing and genuine. If you are looking for a more upscale resort- then try either the Sandals Negril or Dunn's River- both seemed more classy. The food wasn't great- but it's what you would expect from an "All Inclusive". I would not suggest flying Air Jamaica though- awful customer service and very unreliable- Beware.

I recently stayed at Sandals Montego Bay with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. The hotel is right next to the airport so if you have a long flight you probably won't want to sit in a cab for 2 hrs to get to your hotel. The planes do fly close to the resort but the noise is only for a few seconds and I was not woken up once during the night or early in the morning. The staff at this resort are amazing! Their motto is "no problem" and they treat you like royalty. In my opinion the food was amazing. The drinks are always overflowing and the Piano Bar is open late into the night. Make reservations at the restaurant that require them as soon as possible. Also take the shuttle to the Sandals Royal Carribean and sample some of their restaurants as well. It's a seven minute drive away and the resort is a lot more modern than Montego Bay. The only downside to our trip to Montego Bay was that it had to end. Jamaica is such a beautiful place and there's sooo much to see and do. Almost all the guests at the resort have been to Sandals in the past and I can now see why they return again and again.

Very good choice, very nice people, good food and bar. The building is a lilltle bit old. One disavantage is that is very near the airport so you can hear all airplanes coming and going. But the rest was very nice.

The resort is very-very nice, the staff friendly, and the animation/recreation offered are lovely. Everybody in the staff really tries to satisfy all your needs. You will find plenty of couples in the honeymoon or about to get married on the beach, together with some older couple just on vacation. Even when full the resort is never too crowded and the staff more than enough to handle it. From the airport it takes only 5 minutes of bus to start your vacation, and the welcome at the airport is very nice (luggage guys ask for few dollars tips, no tips inside the resorts). Airplanes take off over the resort, but don't worry, they stop at 9.45pm and start again only at 9am. The weather is usually nice: windy and cloudy in the morning, sunny and calm during the day and towards evening. If you are looking for cristal clear sea, you must know that they fine white sand "obfuscate" the water when its windy and the sea not calm. Avoid sun between 11am and 2pm, it is very hot and will burn your skin, even with high sun-protections (they say that in the welcome talk, but I know you will skip it!). There are 5 restaurants, and the main one changes menu every night. Every restaurant, drink, or food is free inside the resort. You can also take a minibus and visit/dine at the others 2 Sandals resort on the island for free. On Sunday they have a beach party with locals that perform on the sand, a big buffet, and a night-trip to the famous Margaritaville for free with drinks included.

This was our first time to Sandals Montego Bay and we would love to come back next year. I had read the reviews and was a little concerned about the airplanes, but that didn't bother us a bit. This was the most relaxing trip we have ever been on, but there is also plenty to do. The staff was so friendly, we can't stop raving about them. We also were impressed with the delicious meals and variety of food available.
