A beautiful hotel,excellent service everyone was very nice,we had a royal memories suite and when we ask for our dinner on the beach they told us that it was not included to bad because we were on our honey moon but we would love to go back it's the perfect place for couples especially if you're looking for a place with no kids running around definitely this is the place! The food is great but make sure to make reservations. We can't wait to go back!!

This is a very nice 3.9 star property, but not a 5 star property at all. The quality of the bed linens to the quality of the food, leaves a lot to be desired.Not being able to get premium alcohol around the pool,but only at certain venues was very disturbing..We also had plumbing issues for our 3 night stay which failed to be taken care of. But for Cancun at this point not a bad option..

The Royal Hideaway Playacar was the ultimate honeymoon for my husband and I. The service was impeccable through out our entire 10 night stay. We are planning on returning for the celebration of our one year anniversary and would recommend it to our best friends and believe me we are tough critics!

The Hotel was very good. It was clean, staff was friendly and the restaurants / food were superb. I would definitely recommend if you look for an all-inclusive retreat. Better than all other places in Playa del Carmen.

The Royal Hideaway is the most luxurious all-inclusive ever. Very small, smaller than I expected, but absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway. Not a good fit for partiers - very laid back atmosphere with many honeymooners or anniversary couples. Perfect for romance, but still lots of fun things to do. Incredible food - but you must dress for the occasion (no shorts at dinner ever). We have been to Mexico a number of times - We can't wait to go back to RH.

This resort was all we ask for. The food is excellent. The bilingual staff are very friendly and want to help with out getting in the way. A different resturant each night. The only thing that is not 5 star is the beach has not yet recovered from hurricain dammage a couple of years ago. It is still very nice. We will be back.

The review title says it all. We've traveled a lot and, since this was our honeymoon, we were pickier than ever. The hotel more than delivered in every way.

Food and service fantastic! Most enjoyable all inclusive we have ever been to. Plan on returning next year.

The staff was really friendly. At the pool, waiters would walk up every few minutes offering fruit, drinks, and cold towels to use for your face! The food was great and they offered lots of activities. It was a very calm and relaxing trip with NO kids running around the pool area. I also received a massage at the spa which was great. I would love to come back!

Excellent food at every meal. Spend your time in the evening on pursuits other than the show. Its song and dance from around the regions of Mexico and only bearable. A great place to relax in the sun and drink mojitos.

This hotel is a great choice for an all inclusive vacation as it has some of the best amenities and great five star service for every aspect of your stay. The only negative is the quality of the beach which is, quite frankly, not very usable.

Royal Hideaway came highly recommended to us from some good friends and we were not disappointed. We went to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and totally relax. From the moment we arrived we hardly had to lift a finger. Everything was first class. The food was great! The service was impeccable! The atmostphere was so relaxing. We didn't feel the need to leave the grounds while we were there. We can't wait to schedule our next trip to Royal Hideaway! This is a perfect place for people celebrating an anniversary or on a honeymoon. The only negative is the beach front. Hurricane Wilma (fall 2005) did a number on the beaches throughout Playa del Carmen, but that didn't matter much to us. It was still beautiful!

I can't say enough great things about the RH. It was the most relaxing vacation that I have ever been on. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for some quality R&R. Bring a handful of good books and enjoy!! I was totally content not leaving the hotel for ANY activities. For the first time I didn't need a vacation after my vacation...I was left refreshed and ready to go back to work.
