Pleasantly surprised. Nice hotel for the price albeit end of Oct beginning of Nov and it rained the entire time. We are not quite sure if that was why it was so reasonble. Within reasonable taxi fare to Old San Juan and Isla Verde which has good nightlife and restaurants. Walking distance to Marriott which has live bands in great lobby.

The hotel is nice but the cost of getting places from the hotel is not cheap. The breakfast is not very elaporate, more toward the danish, and juice. The employees were always nice, and commindating.

The Hotel was absolutely accomadating to all needs. There service was outstanding. On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best I personally rate them a 10!

Absolutely look into the tours, the hotel has to offer. This will make your stay all the more worth coming back for more.

Radisson Ambassador hotel really lived up to my expectations. Great location (10 minutes from airport) near lots of shopping and dining. Rooftop pool and gym. Nice sized-casino where I won 26,240 nickles. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to get early check-in. Would definitely go back. Thanks Radisson!

Although the hotel is not located on the beach I was satistied with the location. It is in the heart of Condado, near great restaurants and greatlocal places to eat good meals. The location is lively,however, it is not a tourist strip.I specially liked the idea that I could take public transport to other parts of San Juan. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. When I checked in I was given a room with a very bad view, I called the front desk and they told me to come down and after a three-minute wait I was given a different room with a much better view. The staff always took care of my needs in a professional manner and with warmth. I would stay at this hotel on my next trip to San Juan. I just hope the shower head would regulate the hot/cold water better.

Nice hotel. Located in Condado Beach area. Close to hospital, restaurants, pharmacies, liquor store, etc. Very local area. Casino and hotel frequented by local residents. More locals than tourists. Close to most of San Juan. ADULTS ONLY. Not conducive environment for children. Casino very active. No beach. Local public beach was closed. No pool.

staff was extremely personable & very helpfull. casino was busy & full of energy. hotel bar has live music w/ different entertainment every nite. pool is located on roof with a great view. hotel is located close to plenty of shops & restaurants. all within walking distance. i normally stay in more high end hotels, but my stay was so pleasant. it didn't leave a bad taste. i could do it again.

This hotel was the 2nd best in the Condado. Hotels beneath this class were horrible. I will pick the class higher the next time. The casino was ok, but under-staffed. There was in-house entertainment that was well received. The rooms were clean. The pool was ok, but could have been excellent if it were cleaner, children had been monitored, and been properly staffed. The front desk wasn't either helpful or not overly helpful. We asked for a late check out, as the person that checked us in indicated that we should ask for this since our flight was at 5pm. We were told that we could stay until 1, but really needed to stay until 3. The person that checked us in said that if the hotel was not busy, it would not be an issue. The hotel was very empty. We were disappointed, but had them check our bags, we grabbed lunch and then came back and sat at the pool. We would have rather caught 3 hours on the beach, not had to deal with checking out and then changing in the pool bathroom. Too bad they could not see that we would have returned to the hotel if they would have extended the slightest degree of convenience. The gym was ok too, but we were disappointed that there wasn't a steam room or sauna. The elevators were a huge issue, as only 1 of 3 was working while we were there. We had to take the steps a few times.

Looked nothing like what the pictures depicted. Nothing to do in the surrounding neighborhood; no night life. The hotel's sleep number bed was terrible! None of the elevators were working throughout the duration of my stay. The pepsi machine gave me hot drinks! not even room temp. but hot, and to make bad worse, the ice machines on my floor did not work! I will never go back to any of the Radisson hotels again!!

I've just returned from my first trip to San Juan, PR and had a really good time. The Radisson Ambassador definitely lived up to my expectations, I'm a pretty budget traveler. I ended up being in the Ambassador Club (I'm not sure how) and this meant that I was entitled to a very nice breakfast, and evening snacks. There was also a special suite upstairs with coffee and cookies all day. The one drawback was that all beverages were for purchase only. I also found the staff in the Ambassador Suite to be not very friendly or helpful. The rest of the staff was much more helpful. The room we stayed in was a good size for two and very comfortable and clean. Each night we were given chocolates on our pillows, which is a very nice touch. The one drawback I found was that the hotel is not walking distance to Old San Juan or Isla Verde (which I didn't know before going). The cabs can get expensive, to get to these places, but there really isn't enough to do to stay only in Condado. This in no way reflects on the hotel, but is something to keep in mind if you like to walk as much as I do.

My room had toilet issues that were not resolved when I returned to the room almost 12 hours later. Insufficient parking die to outsiders coming into the casino and nightclub. Lack of attention from the Assistant Manager when issues were addressed. Not enough attention at the hotel restaurant I only ate at once. Wilfedo T.

The hotel's location was excellent. You are less than a 15 minute drive from both Old San Juan and Isla Verde. There is also a great restaurant a block away, Yerba Buena. The ambiance, service, and food were excellent.

Just came back from PR on 7/22/07,and there are no complaints with the hotel. The conceirge wasn't very helpful, which made is hard to get some local info. Also,if you rent a car parking at the hotel is $15 a day. Just drive around and you can find parking. Overall, it is clean and comfortable, and I would go back there.

PR was great and this hotel really is in a great location. Just two blocks from the beach and within walking distance of shopping, dining, all sorts of things. People were very nice (but slow....maybe just island life). Restaurant not so great. My room was comfortable with a great "sleep number" bed and nice bedding. The price was quite good....I would definitely go back.

The hotel is very well maintained and the service was spectacular! We arrived four hours before check-in, but immediately they searched for an available room to accommodate us by upgrading us for free. Any thing we needed from hotel service, fine dinning in town, or even finding rare pleasures, the hotel management would do their very best to provide the adequate desire. The service went as far as forewarning us on certain scams or commonly overpriced products/services in the area. We were very pleased on this vacation. Everyone was equally helpful, but the one person specifically whom stands out to us was Abraham. If you need any help, he is the gentlemen to see.

The sleep number bed upgrade is a must that includes luxury linens and lots of down pillows but that is about as luxury as it gets, everything else is hotel standard. The night life seemed very good. People were always eating, dancing, listening to live music, and having fun in the casino. Complaints were slow room service with untasty pricey food and a small rooftop pool that closed at 8pm and was cleaned during the open hours. Staff was very friendly although reservations were not accurate.
