The location of the hotel is perfect for any atraction or activity in Puerto Vallarta. Most of the tpur trips are just a few blocks from there.

For your own good, do not listen to the sellers at the lobby of the airport; they are pain in the back...

The hotel had a great view was on a great location near everything. The staff was very friendly and approachable. However, I was in my honeymoon and the first morning that we stayed we received a phone call in my room from a hotel worker trying to sell timeshare to us. I was very disappointed of this incident. Another the rooms were fair in condition but there was construction all over the hotel there was a day that we were without water, another day without lights. The air conditioning console was very old and it made sooo muuuch noise so we preferred not using it eventhough we were sooo hot. Finally, I would go back to the hotel after they remodel and on a cooler season.

Traveler's tip:

Definately pay on expedia to visit ritmo de la noche. It is worth it.

Very basic but comfortable

Yes, the pool area is beautiful and quiet and our room looked out over it. We needed a quiet place to rest for a night after a long work week before going home to Tepic, Nayarit and this place was far from the partying downtown crowd. However the air conditioner was as loud as a jet engine so earplugs were necessary for me to sleep (it didn't bother my husband). The bed was very comfortable which is saying a lot for PV hotels as many of them just throw a mattress on a cement slab! Our bed had a wood frame. Everything was clean but the cement walls in the bano needed repairs. Also other than the bed the only thing to sit on was a wood chair(no cushions). You have to cross the main road into Centro in front of the hotel to get to the beach. We were told there was a public walkway by one of the closer hotels but we just walked through the lobby and pool area of the hotel across the street to go walk on the beach. The north hotel zone does not have the best beaches but the little bit that was there has been roped off so now you go to the vendors on the other side, they can't come to your lounge chair and bug you. We got the standard room - no coffee machine, hairdryer, etc. I would consider staying for a longer time in the future but I would get a suite with the kitchen/dining/ sitting area setup. Right across the street is a internet/coffee shop/market that had a lot of "American" items.

Traveler's tip:

*Just a tip-If a really nice beach is important to you go to the Romantic zone hotels if you don't mind the all night party goers in the streets.

Room was very inexpensive so you can eat like a king or queen in PV. Grounds and pool are beautiful. Room a little on the funky side, but clean sheets, towels every day. Your tile floor looks like it is mopped every day. Hotel people friendly and helpful. Save your money and stay here... unless you stay in your room all day and what traveler does that?

Traveler's tip:

Las Palomas a good place to eat Mexican food in town. Bogarts north a few blocks is fun if you've never been there. Good food. Also a benihana-type place if you get tired of mexican food -- next to Bogarts. Also, the water taxi to Yelapa is a fun ride and you get a free beer at Chico's when you arrive. Only $24 us roundtrip and you stay 4 hours in Yelapa, which has three restaurants and a beautiful beach with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs.

We requested a room with 2 double beds and got a king size bed. The television did not work at all. There were 2 outlets in the room and only one worked. There was no outlet in the bathroom at all.

Rates were good; front desk staff very helpul; nice pool;quiet location; short walk to the beach; room was comfortable but sparcely furnished; room was cleaned well daily; maintenance was a little lacking; meals were a little on the high priced side.
