This was such a great place, it is centrally located for all the fun and excitement. Only had to take a cab one time, just about everything in walking distance.

Great staff, everyone pleasant and in a very convenient location. Can't wait to go back.

Traveler's tip:

Rent car at airport or hotel. Do not try to get it on your own or on 5th Ave they will have you walking around in circles.

The service was excellent and the food was great. The Palace staff has done a wonderful job.

Traveler's tip:

Take advantage of Palace's sister resorts. You can go to the Cozumel Palace and snorkel for free, or you can go to the Aventura and eat at different restaurants for free. There is also a nice spa and exercise area at the Moon Palace

From the moment we arrived and the complimentary champagne I knew this place was dynamic. The white marble floors and the greeting from the most wonderful people in the world made me very confident our stay would be amazing, as it was. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. They wait on you hand and foot and provide amazing service. They make you laugh and interact with you and really make your stay an enjoyable experience. It is also very convenient, right next to the Cozumel Ferry's and great Scuba Diving Shops. I will return again.

Traveler's tip:

Make sure you stop in the nearby dive shop, even if you're not certified and take a scuba excursion. Relax and they'll take care of you. I saw eight giant sea turtles, a marlin, an eel, a stingray, a lobster and barracuda's!

The hotel was great. Advise staying at the hotel or traveling to Cozumel Palace rather than venturing off on tours. The food and service is much better at the hotel.

Traveler's tip:

Do not book the island beach tour - it is not what it appears. The beach at the hotel is much better and the food is as well.

This hotel was great! It was the first trip to Mexico and the Cancun/Riviera Maya area so it was also our first trip to this hotel. Everything was very clean, the in room bar was stocked daily and refilled upon request promptly. The food at the hotel restaurants was ok, but it is a little too repetitive for my tastes when staying for an entire week. Pool, beach, location on the water, and activities both at the hotel and in the immediate vicinity are all positives for this hotel.

Just got back from 10-day stay. Great staff, food, and location to downtown and ferry to Cozumel. Only downside was a very slick pool deck w/ wet feet.

This was our first experience at an all inclusive and we were not disappointed. I took my parents and sister (and her husband) to this place and we got spectacular rooms on the 4th floor overlooking the ocean. The double jacuzzi was a blast (open the sliding door for an ocean breeze and then jump in with your significant other). We WILL stay here again someday. The only negative I can think of is that some of the food was really too salty. But they had a good variety so I could stay away from ones I knew were like this. The other minor negative was Chaza travel (they have a booth at the hotel), for whatever reason nothing we did through them was seamless.

Traveler's tip:

Swimming in a Cenote (underground cave filled with water) was one of my favorite activities. And don't forget if you stay at the Playacar Palace you can visit the rest of the resorts they own for free. We checked out Cozumel Palace and they had great snorkeling right off of the pool area.

The only downside, is that there is virtually no beachfront, you would have to wal a little bit to go to the beach or take the ferry acrross to Cozumel and you will have access to the other palace resort to the pool, towels, the beach and all the food and drink you can handle.

Don't miss the night show at XCARET...it's really something else...

We only went for a 4 day weekend and it was a wonderful and beautiful hotel. The rooms were gorgeous. We were able to upgrade for not much more to the honeymoon suite and it had an unbelievable balcony and view....it was worth the extra to stay there. Everyone was so nice that worked there. And everything really was all inclusive. Can't wait to go back. It was a great experience and very relaxing hotel.
