The hotel was fabulous. The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The food offered at the hotel was delicious and the wait staff were knowledgable. The bedding was devine. The pools overlooked the beach and were well maintained. I would have been just as happy to stay at the restor and never leave.

Be careful at the beach - there are some serious undertows. Shopping - do not pay full price when in town - pay about 1/2 price. Snorkling - not so great.

Highly recommendable hotel, we were completely satisfied in every respect. Very nice to have the beach right in front of the hotel. It was an advantage to have stayed at the hotel during low season, consequently attention and service was excellent and room allocation on the 6th floor ocean view superb. We can highly recommend the Hilton Los Cabos.

Absolutely perfect! When you first walk in you will be amazed at the view of the ocean. Every room has a balcony that overlooks the ocean. We saw whales from the whale wathcing deck that has a built in telescope. There are 2 huge pools and one with a swim up bar. I loved this place and can't wait to go back. The staff was helpful and freindly. The only negative is that it is a 10-15 minute cab ride to San Jose or San Lucas.

Our stay at the Los Cobos Hilton was fabulous. The hotel itself and the pool are beautiful with breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez. The staff, housekeeping and concierge were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We have been to the Los Cabos Hilton 3 times and will certainly go back as soon as we can!

Hit the grocery store Giant to save on snacks and drinks.

This was my second visit and blew the doors off other 5-star destinations. Service is the best anywhere and being steps from the ocean, you really don't have to leave. Food and drinks are a bit higher than most US destinations so don't think visiting this part of Mexico is going to save you money. I would definitely go back again.

Stay was excellent. It's not Hawaii or the Carribean but if you are looking for the quick getway on the West Coast it's a good fit. A few things to keep in mind though. Hotel was very quite unitl the end our stay when corporate groups came in, didn't ruin our stay it just wasn't as intimate. Place is peaceful and service is great. Above all hotel is safe and we may come again with bring the kids. It's an easy trip from L.A. just a short flight. Arrange your transpo from airport to hotel ahead of time as we did to avoid the timeshare MESS!! Hotel could use another restaurant for breakfast though. They have two pool side grills which are excellent for eating. You may want to stop in town on the way in to stock up on snacks. We didn't but will next time. Beach is not for swimming. Tide is too rough and sand is not soft, but the view is incredible and the infity pool is better than the beach anyway. A great stay for just chillin. Hotel staff helped me set up romantic things in our room to surprise my wife in the evenings and she loved it!

The Hilton was everything I had imagined. Our 2008 GuideOne Insurance was held at the Hilton Los Cabos. My husband and I look forward to our next visit. The entire staff was exceptionally helpful and service oriented in every way. Thanks for making our stay such a memorable one!

Traveler's tip:

You must visit San Jose del Cabo, eat at Tequilla and shop for jewlery at Gloria's and Talavera pottery at sol dorado.

The Hilton is as always fantastic. But every service was a la carte. That got old after a few days. Many of the hotels in Cabo are all inclusive. While they don't have quite as good of meals, you don't pay for a premium meal every single meal. The least you'd expect is to have internet expenses included.

It was a beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, the pools were amazing, and the weather could not have been better. Peddlers on the beach were a hassle, but the hotel can't control that. We had an ant problem when we checked in, because we got a small welcome fruit plate that they attacked. The staff cleared that up in minutes. Overall, everything was wonderful, and I would go back in a heartbeat!!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Los Cabos Hilton. This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed at. Not only is it a beautiful resort it is very well maintained and is exceptionally clean. The staff was incredibably friendly, the service was 5 star and the ammentities were second to none. The beach was beyond incredible and the availability of recreational activities were way more than anyone could enjoy in just one week. Be sure to book a trip to the Spa, it was beyond words. Sitting around the pool and watching the whales migrate by was an experience of a lifetime. If there was any matter of concern during our visit it was with the food and the prices. Breakfast and Lunch were very good, however dinner was another matter. I would expect that a hotel of this quality would insist on the same quality from the food. The steaks and lobster were tough and very chewy. Because of the quality we questioned the high price. Had they been of better quality the price would not have been an issue. Service in every Restaurant and Bar at the Hotel was great and friendly.

Traveler's tip:

Beware of Timeshare salesmen in the Arprt lobby just outside of Customs, they try to entice you with freebies to get you to look at timeshares. When you exit Customs continue out through the sliding doors on the right. All transporation and their representatives are waiting outside. You do not need assistance in the lobby area.

Great place to relax and unwind. Hotel staff are friendly and attentive and bend over backwards to help you out. Good place to stay if you don't want to get into Cabo every day, otherwise it's expensive using taxis to get into town. Could do with more restaurant choices for lunch and dinner, but the food is excellent and of a high quality and always fresh. Altogether a very relaxing, peaceful place to hang out for a week or two - or even a few days.

Traveler's tip:

Local attractions are a good drive away, so you will need a car, or lots of money for expensive taxi service into the 2 local towns. Same applies to restaurants and shops - none nearby - so you're stuck with eating the expensive (but excellent) food at the hotel - or starving!

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. My brother was getting married at Las Ventanas and this was an inexpesive alternative to staying there. The hotel was immaculate, the staff could not have been friendlier, the rooms were beautiful, and the food was delicious. I agree with everyone else that breakfast was a little pricey, but the rest of the meals were priced well. I can not wait to go back for our next vacation.

We had a great short break in Cabo and the Hilton Resort was excellent. The service was impeccable and all the hotel features were great. Food is good though a bit pricey. Happy Hour was great. The swim-up bar/restaurant was wonderful. Others have recommended renting a car as the taxis are expensive and the shuttles aren't always convenient. We rented a car and though we did it through expedia and were quoted a price, everything escalated when we picked up and then returned the car. We used Europcar which I will not do again! They insisted we buy their car insurance despite the fact that we had ensured that our car rental insurance covered Mexico but the agent would not listen. He quoted a final price in $ but when we returned the car, he charged us in Pesos at a ridiculous exchange rate that he said we had agreed to despite the fact that he had never mentioned it when we rented the car. Yes, it was in the small print of the document we signed but he pointed out everything else EXCEPT the rate which was crazy and we never would have acccepted it in the first place. Not sure how much the car saved us in the end, though it was convenient.

Traveler's tip:

Don't use Europcar if you rent a car!

Rent a car if possible.

Booked on Expedia for my Honeymoon in Aug, 2008. Arrival was simple and easy, with a free drink at the bar while they picked up our reservation. I reserved an Ocean View suite and was upgraded to a Ocean Front suite-no charge. I emailed the concierge to arrange for a Honeymoon treat in our room and we got a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and heart baloons. A nice bonus. Overall, the hotel was great, the pool is fabulous and the service is top notch. My only complaint is that its a $25 cab ride to and from either Cabo or San Jose.

Traveler's tip:

Try to make friends and "carpool" in the cabs. They are large vans and easily fit 6+ people. With a $25 cost each way into town, the more the better.

Traveler's tip:

Take a taxi to shopping areas in San Jose del Cabos. Taxis were an added convenience. Better than renting a car.

The hotel was beautiful. We went in Aug.and it was very humid. It was too hot to do anything except relax by pool or beach. Fortunatly the hotel was great for that. The food was way over priced. It was 6.50 U.S. for a bottle of water! Lunch for my family of 4 was 100.00 U.S.!

We rented a car, a must for families because shuttle and taxi adds up. We went to the local Walmart (10 minutes away) and bought sodas, water, snacks, cooler and kept treats in our room. It worked out great.
