The decor is simple, but clean. The room was spacious. The staff was very accomodating and eagerly suggested local restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is located on the water and has a small, private beach as well as a pool. It is also reasonably priced.

The king room was much larger than expected and located on the corner facing the bay with a balcony wrapping around the corner. 2nd room booked for our group with 2 double beds was adjacent, as expected. There were no additional hotel charges or taxes for the rooms above what had already been settled with Expedia and the whole experience related to the hotel was smooth and uneventful. This was our first hotel booking through Expedia and we were extremely please with the entire experience.

While we checked in we were given a room with the window opening right in front of a construction sight, with Loud noise.I requested for a change of room and they changed me to the opposite side of the building. We kept our luggage and came back after some time the room lock was jammed and could not open. The receptionist was courteous enough to provide another room however we kept checking every 15 minutes for our luggage and they could finally open the room after 1 and 1/2 Hour. The staff is in serious need of training. Spend a few bucks more and find another place to stay.

There is a big chance that I will go next time to this same hotel. Quality is good, service good, buffet in the morning is OK and it has a very nice view because its "forward" position to the sea that let you see all the bay and hotels at a sea shore level. The only dislike was that the parking is not in the building and valet has to park the car, I was driving my Porsche and I hate to let somebody else drive it but at the end they deliver it with no scratches.

Good option for bussiness and families, nice pools. Semi-private petite beach. Great-Great Value.

Love the hotel!!! The only suggestion I would make to the hotel is for the breaksfast buffet. It was almost the same buffet every single day, they would change maybe two or three items, but if you stay for more than a week breaksfat isn't to exciting anymore. The hotel was always pretty clean!! While we were having breakfast, you can see people(right beside you ) cleaning windows and sweeping the pool area for more than an hour.

Excellent for families!! Hotel size is wonderful for kids...not too big and yet not too small. Just the perfect place to spend some holidays with kids under the age of 10. I would definetly go back!!

This was my second time staying at the Fiesta Inn. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff is helpful. The location is excellent. My only complaints were the prices in the dining room--the breakfast buffet is very good but very expensive--and the fact that the wireless Internet only worked in the lobby and did not extend to the rooms.

Traveler's tip:

Beware the activities and transportation options on the Expedia website. I have purchased them before in other cities in Mexico and things were fine, but the company that does the tours and airport-to-hotel transportation in Acapulco is horrible. I strongly recommend against them.

Hotel was very nice. It is on very good location. Room was very large and clean. Only thing bad was only couple of people in hotel can speak and understand English. Restaurant in the hotel had very good food, we ate dinner and Breakfast there. If I will go again in Acapulco, I will stay definately in Fiesta Inn.

This hotel is located in the Golden Zone of ACA. Be sure to ask for the rooms that are on the corners--since you will have TWO views of the bay. THe rooms are large, and comfortable. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff are very nice. The one drawback is there is a bit of a language barrier with the front desk. If you speak even a little Spanish it will help. They have free wi-fi and a business center, although we had problems with the printer. THe location is great for restaurants and some shopping. Make sure you tell the Driver the FIESTA INN, since there is another "Fiesta" just down the street. "your hotel" has an orange front on the tower. The Expedia rate was great for the area. It has a nice pool, and a small beach area as well.

Traveler's tip:

Quite a few "eating establishments" in the area within walking distance. Also, get the rate from the driver (taxi) before traveling. No meters. ALSO, the White and Blue VW cabs are a bit less, but no A/C, and minimal room. You can usually negotiate a rate. The hotel has posted rates and you can go from there.

This place was right on the main strip and on a part of the beach that was rocky so the views were spectacular. If you get a suite or end unit you get views on two sides which is gorgeous. The pools were nice and the staff (though spoke little English) was very friendly and helpful. The floors were nice tiles and the room was spotless. The buffet b-fst (continental or hot/cold combo) wasn't too bad either. This part of town if quite busy and there are lots of places to eat and drink right along the main strip. I would recommend this place and would stay there again if I visit Acapulco.

Traveler's tip:

I would recommend a city tour because they drive you to things you otherwise would not see (divers and the church high on the hill) . Ours dropped us off at the cruise chip in the end so that was handy. If you are looking to stock up on things (like wine) you should do it near the hotel and NOT wait till you get to the cruise ship area as its a very old and congested part of town.

Hotel is situated in the heart of touristville, plenty of restaurants in both directions outside of front steps of hotel. Hotel staff is at your service, cost of taxi ride from airport was expensive,no shuttle provided by hotel.Room was cleaned each day (we were there four nights),fresh towels and towels for pool provided at poolside, two pools facing the bay, great view of bay.If you are over 45 and seek a more peacefull beach,I suggest go spend the day at La Caleta beach, family beach, spend the day at Puerto Marques . I would stay at this hotel again, for the price it is a great value. Some of the staff speaks english, you never know you might run into your former yardman or a favorite waiter that served you here in the States before being deported.

Traveler's tip:

Great experience, Cash some dollars in Mexico City so you have pesos in hand to pay taxi BUT once you land in ACAPULCO......before cashing in your dollars for pesos, check out the three money exchanges that are close to the hotel, you get three exchange rates,so check them out before you choose.

I stayed at Fiesta Inn for 5 nights and completely enjoyed my time. The staff is friendly although Acapulco caters to the Mexican tourist, hardly anyone spoke English very well. That said, it was a vacation and Mexico....what do you expect. The room a/c is a little loud but it works and the beds are very hard, but I have a bad back so I appreciated that. Eat out...food is pricey at this hotel.

Traveler's tip:

As a gay man, I was happy that there is a gay night club (opens at 11:00pm) called "Picante" across the street on the right side of Squid Roe (use to be Charlos N Charlies). It's filled with hustlers though. A lesiban club is above it.

Somewhat Disappointed - Fluency in Spanish Required

At first, this place was great! We had a room on the corner of the building with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the beach on one side and the ocean on the other. It was beautiful. The room appeared in great condition. We had a small problem with the lights in the bathroom but maintenance came up within 15 minutes. The maids never put washcloths in the room so we had to request those multiple times but those were usually brought to us within 15 minutes as well. Unfortunately, hardly any of the staff spoke a single word of English and this made things quite difficult since neither of us were fluent in Spanish. Ordering food at the restaurant and from room service was quite the chore. On the second, third, and fourth day of our stay, they had painters come and paint the outside of the building. The painters left chunks of building and empty pop bottles on our balcony. The construction noise next door was quite annoying. It was nice to have two pools. The children mainly stuck to one pool with the adults in the other. However, the adult pool was very dirty so we didn't spend too much time in it. I would rather be in the ocean. The private beach area was really nice and we made use of it often. It's a nice escape from the main beach area, though there is NO escape from all the women asking if you want a "masaje." You'll probably get that offer every 30 seconds no matter where you are.

Traveler's tip:

I would highly recommend knowing your Spanish well if you're going to stay here. That'll save you from a lot of stress and 20 minute phone calls to room service just trying to communicate what you want and figuring out what they are asking you.
