The hotel is located on the same block where a bungee rope jump platform business is located. The platform is equipped with large loudspeakers that blare music well into the early morning hours. You can actually hear it if your room is located on the side of the hotel facing it. Just ask to be placed on the opposite side of the building and you should be OK. The views on either side of the building are fantastic. Also, Gay friendly.

Love this hotel...I have been to Acapulco many times and have always stayed at this hotel....It is clean, the staff is friendly and is centrally located to all the attractions you may want to see...It was recently renovated as well, which is a plus...I recommend this to any one who is planning a trip to Acapulco.

Upgraded to suite after complaining about noise

I booked this hotel knowing its location, but expecting them to have dealt with the noise problems by perhaps having double glazing. They has no measures to reduce the noise and as a result it was impossible to sleep. We complained about the noise and they moved us immediately to a room on the other side of the building. The difference is amazing, no noise here at all. The room they upgraded us to was a suite which was simply fantastic, however I would say the previous room was excellent also, just too noisy. In short, make sure your room is on the twin towers side and if it isn't ask them to move you.

I did not like that the hotel marks every person wearing a color band on your hand. the rooms are nice but be careful if you are close to the bars noise o the street or your neighbors.

It is the best choice in the golden zone of Acapulco. Just take in mind is a hotel mainly for families, and it is located in the noisy area of Acapulco (surrounded by bars, discos, etc.), however the hotel is great.

Traveler's tip:

A lot of places to eat just walking outside the hotel. Be careful with really cheap places. VIPS and Sanborns are good for Americans. Acapulco Charlies in front of the hotel is good and fun.

The service at the Fiesta Americana was great. From the people at the desk to waiters and security guards, they were all respectful and helpful. The rooms are large and with great views of Acapulco Bay. The mattresses could be a little bit softer. If you eat breakfast at the hotel, watch out! You'll pack the pounds if you are not careful.they are not miserly in their portions. The coffee is kind of watery, and sometimes, I needed to go to the Starbuck's next door for a strong caffeine fix. Warning: The tip was included with the breakfast, but some waiters would not state it on the bill in order to get a double tip. I complained to management, but nothing was done about it. The pools were great, but sometimes they were overcrowded due to the Chilangos (people from Mexico City) who came for a vacation between Thursday and Monday. Besides the imperfections, I had a great time at this hotel, and I will definitely stay here again when I come to Acapulco.

Traveler's tip:

There is a healthy food restaurant, "100% Natural" across the street from the Fiesta Americana that I recommend. Healthy and Tasty.

Fiesta Americana in acapulco was a wonderful hotel to stay at! The service was phenominal, the staff so polite and ready to please, the grounds maintained beautifully, and the location PERFECT! I will definitely go back. Just one drawback though, the room stayed hot! There is a sensor system and the ac only runs when there is movement, so it was pretty hot in the room. But that won't stop me from going back!

At our arrival to the Fiesta Americana Hotel everything looked beautiful like in the pictures. The sales people were bugging us to enroll in their vacation club program and told us about their 90 minute presentation that took 3 hours..... I finally had to say I wasn't able to at the moment. Other than that the Hotel was just how I pictured it to be, very clean, comfortable. Yes, the quite side it much better.

This hotel was 100% the right place to stay! It is located either right across the street or within 2 blocks of many popular bars, about 3 blocks from a large market, and have many places to eat nearby too. The staff was real helpful and most people spoke English. They have a tour desk to book excursions too. And, the resort offers 'activities' like aqua aerobics, pool volleyball, etc...to keep guests entertained. I will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Traveler's tip:

The hotel even offered a 1-hour massage at the pool for $400 pesos (which is like $33USD depending on the exchange rate). The pools are great, but beware when you go to the beach...people will want to sell you anything and everything! You can find good buys, though.

without problems although this last time the room the air conditioner did not work and the customer service was not too great either. I think this hotel is too confident in being a larger hotel and they forget how to treat their customers.

The hotel didnt give me a nd my friends a good service because they doble charged one night. We are still discussing that problem with the hotel staff but they dont wanna give us a propper solution. The manager in charge is never in the hotel, so it is very complicate to have a good comunnication with the rest of the staff because they just leave everything to the manager who is never there!!

Although my bad experience, I realize it is a hotel for family trip.

I can rate this hotel max 3 stars with(-)as apparthotel without b'fast.Chief cook in this hotel should be replaced as quality and test of the food desired to be much more better. No activities for the kids at all.But want to point only one thing -the people. All of them are very friendly.U'satnd that I made a mistake choosing the room. The room is small with one sleeping room but from internet picture I was thinking that there will be 2 rooms in there which one is TV room and another is sleeping room (same as in Mexico city where the 4 stars hotel was as a real 4 stars hotel).Hope in the next time will make correct choice.
