Hotel would be even greater if thier rooms where renovated, however service was great, food was great at all restaurants. Kids Explorer Club was fantastic, our kids wanted to go there everyday!!! I would suggest that id you want to book any tours, do so outside of the hotel, their services to book tours were extremely expensive! Location was great. Pools are small, jacuzzi small but you can always use the lagoon and the beach!! Would absolutely return, to this resort!

It's the third Dreams stayed at (Puerto Vallarta & Los Cabos), 2 adults + 1 small child, a junior suite with jacuzzi for 4 nights, Dreams Cancun is trailing at third place in overall experience. Good things first: location is good, at the tip, so surrounded by water on three sides with access to beach on two sides. A lot of activities, including on site "swimming with Dolphins" (not part of all-inclusive). Not so good things: biggest no-no for us was the condition, jacuzzi was chipping with yellow water stain on the bottom so we ended up not using it a single time. Bathtub was not as bad, but the same feeling of old was there. The bathroom also made you feel squeezed, the size was decent, but the low ceiling could be reached by raising you hands, and I'm not even 6' tall. Other little things such as one day the frig was refilled with only 2 bottle water instead of the normal 4, turn-down service left us 1pc chocolate, not big problems at all, but somewhat showed the carelessness. The door was not the best to block out noises from hall way. Restaurant food was ok, again 3rd among the three Dreams, so was the service, some waiters seemed nicer than others, to be clear, none were rude. Overall, if you prefer activities over room comfort, you can give it a try, it's still decent, all-inclusive is definitely worth a try, at Dreams or elsewhere. We would not however consider going back unless there's major renovation done to the property.

Every room has a beautiful view. They are fresh and clean with a freshly stocked mini bar everyday. The staff will get you anythign you desire and do it with a smile on their face. I can't wait to go back!!

We took our 4 and 7 year old boys and we all loved the resort. I was able to upgrade to a beautiful suite which was perfect. The food was good and the activities were were nice. The only problem was the kids' club. We put our boys there the first full day we were there and our 4 year old wandered off,to the other side of the resort(my husband and I found him and brought him back)and the girls in charge hadn't noticed,even though he'd been gone 15 mins, nor were they very upset. I just got a lot of excuses. The management was very apologetic but I didn't put the boys there again.

We did the Dolphin swim and they let both of our children do it. The 4 year old was able to do the foot push. The one at the Aquarium won't take children under 8.

This was my second trip to cancun, this hotel was a little more grown up than my last (no hosting drinking games in the pool). I loved it, the dolphins were awesome, the resturants were good. The staff was always pleasant. My room was always clean & cool.

Based on the expedia review criteria, DREAMS delivered. The HOTEL SERVICE was "A-1"; if you had a problem, all you had to do was contact the front desk or a concierge and your concern was rectified; the 24-hour room service was awesome and so accommodating! The CONDITION/MAINTENANCE of the hotel was pretty awesome. My wife and I stayed in the "newer tower", but even then, the ground staff was constantly painting, shining, cleaning, etc. to keep the ENTIRE resort looking sharp. My wife and I had NO complaints or concerns about the CLEANLINESS of our room. Housekeeping cleaned our entire room every morning; replaced our towels and restocked our mini bar in the afternoon; and replaced our towels again at the nightly turndown service. Disregard the critics that complained about the food or trivial matters like souvenir newsletters. Overall, the food quality and taste was good. The portions may be a bit smaller, but it is an all-inclusive resort. It was an exclusive, resort-style restaurant not a family buffet steakhouse! If you want more, just order more! Most people probably did NOT try all the courses on the entire menu, but we did. I am not a small guy, but after I had an appetizer, a salad, a drink, an entree, AND a dessert, I was completely satiated! The evening entertainment was simple, light, & fun. My wife and I were totally satisfied with our stay and we would highly recommend DREAMS to our closest friends and family. Final grade: "A+"

Dreams Cancun was the best all inclusive we've stayed at in Cancun. Everything truly was included. Staff was great!! 2 beaches with beach area and nice water. 2 really nice pools. All food was great. Went to Seaside grill last night and it was fabulous!! Watched at least 1 wedding a day from our balcony. Great area in the Hotel District. Walking distance from tons of fun. Can't wait to go back!!

The employees at the hotel are great. Very pleasant and attentive to the needs of their guest. However, the facilities are out dated. We had problems with the AC, and the plumbing. The staff was quick to address the problems. But management never offer any kind of apology for the inconvenience. The dolphin lagoon was not that attractive, the pool is small for a resort this size, and the kid's club seems like it was an after thought. Enjoyed our vacation, but will not stay here again.

Best trip ever!!!, staff was perfect in every way, catered to your every need, truly all inclusive hotel, beach was very clean, food was great, the hotel needs some little TLC, but it makes up for a wonderful staff, good food, great entertainment from 9 am to 5 pm, and after hours. They have a wonderfull kids club, you can drop your kid off at 9:30 am and pick him/her up at 9:30 pm if you choose to.Best hotel ever

many atractions for the kids, one of them was kids club, also swimming with the dolphines was a great experience.

We just visited Cancun July 20th-July 27th and we had an amazing time! The staff at Dreams s incredible! They were there whenever you needed something. There is always something to do and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous! The next time we go back we are going to check out the rooms in the tower. I would recommend the room with a view...going to sleep and waking up to the waves made the trip that much nicer and peaceful. It was our piece of Paradise.

We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful time.Location is great for walking to shops and Resturants.The staff is very hard working and helpful,spa was beautiful and very private.Not to fond of trying to have a few drinks with children sitting at the bar.Food was good and the beaches were fantastic.Our room was kept stocked and cleaned twice a day.We will recommend to all our family and friends.

Dreams was a dream! Every single person who we came in contact with (the entertainment team, concierge, front desk, waiters, room service, etc.) were kind, concerned, and memorable. If I were to return to Cancun, Dreams would be the place I will stay. I have told everyone...friends, family & coworkers...about Dreams. This was the best vacation my husband and I have ever taken. Dreams Resort & Spa was both couple friendly as well as family friendly. There were activities all day to keep everyone, of all ages, having fun and busy!!

I stayed at Dreams Cancun recently for a friends wedding. The first problem we had was that our rooms weren't ready on time and they kept giving us different time frames in which it would be ready. As I finally got fed up with it, they upgraded me to a room that was ready. We were on the 4th floor Dolphin/ Ocean View and I don't know if it was because we were on the top floor, but our A/C would not go below 78 degrees. The buffet didn't have enough variety however, the Seaside Grill had good food. The pool scene wasn't great, but the beach was beautiful! The dolphins were fun to watch, but they did come with kind of a funky smell. All in all we had a great time with our friends, but we will not be staying there again.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and comfortable. The waiters and bartenders are amazing, so nice and hard-working. Good food, great location, can't beat it.

I STAYED 10 DAYS FOR MY HONEYMOON AT DREAMS CANCUN.. THE HOTEL AGENTS DON'T HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGUARDING ANYTHING ABOUT THERE PROPERTY EXCEPT FOR CHECKIN PEOPLE IN. WE ASKED FOR THE DAILY NEWS LETTER AND WANTED TO KNOW WHY ARE NAMES WERE NOT ON IT BUT EVERYONE ELSE WHO GOT MARRIED THEY WERE, NO ONE COULD BACK DATE US A NEWS LETTER SO WE COULD HAVE ONE WITH OUR NAMES ON IT AS A SUVINOUR. FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, ITS A SAD ENVIRONMENT... I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE STAYING THERE
