I used valet parking because it's convenient and they provide fast service. I took confortable dancing shoes because the music entertainment during the night and their bar service was absolutely fantastic.

I loved my stay there. My only concern is for those who are light sleepers as the hotel is very close to the airport which can be noisy at times.

Hotel was clean and very well organized. Concierge was prompt and efficient. Room cleanup was done at later hours, except during a weekend, which did not bother me, since I was on vocation and I wanted to sleep late anyways. Good value for a money.

My Wife and I were very pleased with the hotel. I would highly recommend it. Great Location, and nice club.

The Courtyard by Marriott was more then I had expected. Service, food, room and beach exceeded my expectation. This is not to suggest that the hotel should have a 'five star' rating, but it certainly provided me with a very good experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend.

The hotel was clean, room was very comfortable & spacious, staff was friendly & helpful. Walked right out the back door to a beautiful white sand beach.

The only drawback to the hotel is that there are no nearby attractions outside of the beach. No shopping, or other restaurants nearby to hang out. Part of this is because you're in a large city with a high crime rate. Puerto Rico oddly does not particularly cater to tourists. We were unsuccessful finding a beach to snorkel.

We had an amazing trip. The beach and the pool area were absolutely beautiful... you must spend some time in the hammocks on the beach. It was the down season, so the hotel was very quiet... this was perfect for us, since we were looking for a relaxing getaway. The casino is very small, but fun. There are other hotels with larger casinos within walking distance. We walked to some cheaper restaurants, since food at the hotel was pricy. If you are leaving the hotel, take advantage of the cheap taxi fares. A cab to Old San Juan was only $19. And it is worth the trip... it was breathtaking. Our room was comfortable... the beds were great, had a fabulous view, and a large flat screen tv. I can't say enough about Puerto Rico and the Courtyard Marriott. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our trip was wonderful and I can't wait to go back.

The hotel went through renovation and they did a good job with the rooms. Although the rooms are small they are cozy. The registration desk is too small and located on the main passage to the elevators. The area gets congested and the service gets interrupted by the passing guests.

The best family vacation yet! Hotel accomodations were great and its location directly on the beach was fanominal! Housekeeping could use an improvement, otherwise all was satisfactory. The rooms were upgraded with brand new HD flat screen TVs. Awesome pools, on-site restaurants, bars and casinos were friendly and inviting. We enjoyed our stay, and we hope to comeback next year. We loved our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde!

this was my second visit to this hotel and me and my family were very comfortable and happy with the room. The beach was a stone throw away and when the sand got to hot to walk on we relaxed in and around the pool. It accomadates for adults and kid with a kids game room which was very full in the late evenings and the casino which always had people in it. The only problem this year we came later than last year so the hotel was pretty full which made breakfast at the buffet either very cold or very dry which seemed like they were not accustom to having so many guess for breakfast, so me and the family found the nearby Denny's very satisfactory.

This hotel is customer service oriented in every aspect. The restaurants are all very good and appeal to all price categories. The pools and beach front areas are very well maintained

Will return. Beautiful Beach. Decent hotel. Friendly service. Except Housekeeping was rude and bathroom in our room was dirty.

Nice hotel, food and drinks are a bit pricey. They " nickel and dime" you when they can, such as:charging you for beach chairs and unbrella rentals. Overall, the hotel is clean, nice and they have a friendly staff. Great for kids. My 2yr.old love the kid's pool.I would go back.

We've stayed at this hotel twice and every time it is just perfect. They have a computer room, a casino, several restaurants, a bar, an ice cream parlor, continental breakfast, a fitness room and much, much more. The beach is perfect, the service is great, they even have a concierge that will give you any information you require. The cabs are always available. It's also within walking distance to many native to the island restaurants. And there is even nightly entertainment. However. . . . . there is one drawback. . . .they charge you $6 a day to rent a chair on the beach! I feel you're paying for the hotel, this should be included. They said it's only in July and August but $6 a day for a chair on the beach. . . .we've gone to many other hotels and resorts and chairs are free. . . .they should be here too!

The hotel opened right up onto the beach. There were hammocks to relax in on the sand and the beach itself was very clean. The hotel's restaurants were all standard fare. Wished the casino had video poker machines and that we didn't have to pay to rent beach chairs when the hammocks were full but there were plently of lounge chairs by the pool.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was economical if you combine your breakfast and lunch by eating as late as possible (other choice was continental breakfast with donuts or bagel and coffee but is expensive for what you get). The beachfront evening dining was excellent and the atmosphere very romantic. Drinks everywhere are pricey but you can get your own rum and sodas at a nearby market. Rooms have refrigerators.The planes are loud during the day but the pool and beach area is so relaxing you tend to block it out.We could not hear them inside the hotel at all.Concierge is very helpful.Many of the locals have lived in the States and are very friendly.

Went with a friend of mine and the two of us were very happy with the hotel and the fact it was right on the beach. We spent a lot of time at the swim-up bar which was great! The beach was clean and not crowded while the room was also in good shape with a comfortable king-sized bed. I would stay again if I ever return to Puerto Rico.

Occean side rooms offer excellent views of the beach, and breathtaking sunsets. The beach is simply awesome! Some of the restaurant and hotel staff barely spoke English however were polite. Fantastic place to bring the entire family. Kids can enjoy the arcade while parents enjoy super live music or the casino.

The hotel was near the airport and you could hear the planes taking off all day long. The beach was fabulous and the brunch was delicious everyday - I really enjoyed eating on the terrace that overlooked the beach. Live music everyday is very good.

The hotel staff are lovely. My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our boys (4 yrs. old and 1 year old). The boys had a wonderful time going from pool to pool and down to the beach and back again. It is a short fifteen minute walk to the nearest pharmacy, souvenir shop or Denny's Restaurant. The hotel has four or five restaurants that offer fairly reasonable rates for dining. The Banana Cafe has delicious ice cream, personal pan pizzas and chicken wraps. We had a wonderful time.
